    Thanks 388.

So is kick off at 11pm tonight?
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Extremely disappointed. I would have loved to see us put 'em in 10 overs before the end.

Get a wicket and you start tomorrow with a massive psychological advantage (well, we have one already, but even more so).

Don't get a wicket and they don't have time to settle anyway so they have to start fresh a second time and spend 10 overs on shaky ground getting their eye in.

Would have been a win / win. Bloody rain.

A lot of rain is also forecast for Tuesday, so as it stands we may have to knock 'em off tomorrow or end in a draw.

I think they're starting 30 minutes early. That's normally the most they'll make up in the morning session.

Unsure what time that sets it at for you guys.

I've been to a dozen or so Twenty20 games in the last few years and you usually see 10-15 sixes at each game

I reckon we've been saved by the rain enough in the past. It's cruel payback time

                  Unfortunately correct.

The Australian nation is having an apoplexy at the moment but, we'll see more changes for the next test, zero stability and it only getting worse.

Even if this win is taken away by the weather this series really couldn't have gone much better so far.

To be fair we had issues getting people out when the wicket went flat as well in Brisbane, and may yet do so here, but that won't stop 'em going into spin out

You going to stay up for it then?

If you're lucky I might be about to engage in idle banter.

Unfortunately, if Shaggy's online, Craig will probably be about too though.

I'll certainly be about for a while tonight. I was contemplating going to bed early and catching the last hour rather than the first but realistically that's never going to happen.

(I watched most of the first session last night and then listened until lunch on the radio but couldn't be bothered winding up my laptop because I was feeling rather dislocated after an evening of dog-based entertainment. It freaked me out a bit.)

Time to go for the kill. Bat until we reach 600 then get them into bat.
