All a bit of a pointless exercise really, might as well have gotten them in earlier. I don't think this small session in the field has demoralised the Aussies any more.

              Oooh, you're so meejah.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

They had to get it to 600 like I predicted.

Taking the last two innings, England are 1137 for 6.

                      620 then.

No chance of the Aussies catching that. Just a question of whether they can keep england's bowlers at bay.

A quick spy on how the pitch is performing, as someone suggested a few posts back, is as valuable as the extra runs (if not more so)
                        Football without Origi is nothing

thats why i think we stayed in. It allowed us to have a look at how the wicket is. Swann will be licking his lips at this.

I'm keen to see Markus North bat today (or tomorrow), it's do or die for him. He'll probably be dropped if he doesn't perform. It's a shame because he's definitely a quality player - one of the few Australian players whom are humble; and he has good batting technique.

Are Australia managed by Roy Hodgson?
