      Slip inside Ricky Ponting’s mind
      He’s trying to find
      Some new players to play

He wants to play his older team
      But that’s just a dream
      They’re too old to play

He said he’d start a revolution in his head
But he’s been through all the players A to Z
Now there’s just a summertime of doom
If he loses the Ashes race
He is going to lose his place
Losing three would simply tear his heart out

      So Ricky can wait
      Shane Warne is too late
      And there’s no Glenn McGrath
      Gilchrist’s had his day
And don’t look back to Langer
      He cannot play
      very good.

Sat with the Barmy Army last year in Cardiff. Unbelievably good banter aimed at the large group of Aussies sitting nearby (The Fanatics - how sad is that).

I'll be able to watch Saturday night's action (2am Sunday morning).

If our game is postponed (and it's announced on the friday), i'll get to watch the friday night stuff too.

That's not a bad idea. I'm wondering if i can manage to get up at 5am and then somehow manage a full day at work starting at 9am

If you go to bed earlier than usual, surely? I think play will finish at about 9.30, so I'll just have a late start.

Network goes down at work, so sent home early.

Storm comes so I can't do the gardening.

No choice but to watch us take wickets like candy from a baby whilst sipping beer.

                                Does life get any better?
