What a fantastic day for England. We are on the verge lads. Lets hope we can build a lead of say 300 or 400 runs put them in and bowl them out again.

I watched the first session last night. Very impressive by England.

Obviously the decision to drop Finn was entirely justified by events.

I'm going to try to watch the first session tonight and, I hope, go to bed knowing England are batting themselves into a winning position and will retain the Ashes.

Then I'll be able to ignore cricket for 2½ years, which is as it should be.

I stopped watching when Hussey had just got out and actually texted my brother saying we had just lost the ashes Was out for the day then found out after the end of the days play what the score was.... Horrible stuff.
