Stick to his plan and retire, if he wants a "homecoming" or a bum to beat to bow out with a win then fair enough but he might aswell retire. He cant beat the best at Heavyweight, Cruiserweight is empty and hardly anyone cares about the division anyway so theres not a lot to do.

He has loads of cash and seems to have plans to go in to acting etc so might aswell crack on with that.

retire is the best option i think.

for some reason i think he will want a rematch or a shot at the older klit.

cant see the point in either though

You're being extremely harsh on him here

There is no comparison to Audley whatsoever.
Well, when it comes to talking up your chances, and telling the world what your going to do to your opponent, only to fall flat on your face and lose every round, i think the comparison is clear on this occasion, atleast Audley never stood up at a press conference and paraded his little toe saying...look look...iccle toe hurty.

Maybe i'm upset because i really wanted him to win, really wanted to see what he'd been promising, belived him when he said we were going to see Wladmir have to deal with something completely different, and yet all we got was Hayes head stuck at tyhe end of Wlads jab all night!

he is deluded in the same way fraudley was.

both not good enough when they turned up after telling people this would define them.

          it did both times

Haye really is a classless cunt, his delusion is on a par with scum supporters who think United deserve 100% of decisions and about 4 penalties every game.
            i.e. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/14007095.stm

On a positive note he looks like a crushed man.

He doesn't deserve a rematch (at least at the moment he doesn't).

He said he can knock me out and I'd love him to give it a go
Yes David and you said you'd knock him out easily too.

"We had a dodgy referee that let him get away with all sorts of infringements.
Haye got away with 6 hard shots at the backs of Wlad's head that all went unpunished. If Haye spent loads of the match lunging in completely off balance then he should of fell down the silly prick. He also milked over half of them too - even Sky pundits thought it was pathetic and that's saying something given how much they kissed Haye's arse in the build up.

Haye getting up on the table at the post-fight press conference to show them his toe was just an embarrassment.

To all those that only wanted Haye to win because Wlad is boring - you do realise that if Haye won there's very little chance they would of sorted out contracts, booked a venue, recovered from the match in about 3 months for Vitali. So all this "exciting" boxing from Haye you wouldn't have seen him fight again anyway. At least now if Haye wants any dignity/respect he'll be forced to go way past 31 and build himself up before having another go at Wlad/Vitali...just my HO.

due to huge hangover yesterday i'v enot read or heard any of the aftermath from the fight, other than haye had a broken toe....

well i've had enough broken enough toes - if he had done it in the build up - he would have had a pain killing injection and not felt it. footballers, cricketers, tennis players etc etc all do **** like that when they have to and have no complaints.

If he had done it during the fight, then i reckon adreninlin would have carried him through and he wouldn't have noticied till the next morning.

Anyway - that said...very dissappointed in Haye - purely because of all his talk and bull**** in the build up which has done him no favours....

However there is a couple ways of looking at it.....for all we know this may have all been part of a plan by Haye and his team - He had unified the cruiserwieght division and prob made a decent amount of money - but was a bit of an unknown outside of boxing...he had nowhere where to go, except having a look at the heavyweight....and they've probably thought, there is **** all in this division but the klitchskos, so step up the weight, raise your profile, make a name for yourself as a 'heavyweight' and bait the klitchkos till one of them bites and you get a shot at the big time...one big fight - worst case scenario, walk away healthy, with your celebrity status elavated about 100 times and your bank balance swelled so that you can live a life of luxury. - Best case scenario, you get under his skin and pull of a huge victory and go down as a boxing legend.

Maybe deep down, team haye were never expecting a win, but merely just wanted to get him in the ring, last 12 rounds relativley unhurt, against the best heavyweight around, take the money and run.

Because thats what it looked like maybe i am giving haye a bit of benefit of doubt - because, despite the above, once you've got yourself to that final you go all out at your one big shot.

haye didn't - klitchko was to big, too well organised, and too strong - haye got nowhere near him - after promising he would explode all over him - very dissappointing effort on the face of it, but as i say - maybe all along it was just one big con - a long term plan aimed at turning haye from a very good cruiser weight boxer, to a world wide known multi-millionaire celebrity

the future for haye - nowhere for him to go now - can't see the klitchko's wanting to fight him again, no decent fight for him to have at heavyweight

Haye has surely go to push for a fight with Vitali.

Its the only option left open to him. To fight a nobody heavyweight for a "goodbye" fight would be a waste of time. to fight Vitali would give him a final option to unify as surely wladimir would give him a rematch should he defeat Vitali.

It would also give Vitali a shot a payback after the abuse he also received from haye as he baited him too.

I hope haye v vitali does come around as that would be a better fight IMO than the one at the weekend as vitali is older / slower and not as good as his brother. Haye would IMO beat vitali and Then we would finally have a proper unified champion as (as said) the rematch with wladimir would takle place.

totally agree - thats the only way forward for Haye or more importantly heavyweight boxing - the two klitchkos won't fight each other, and there is no other real challengers at the moment.

However will Vitali be able to agree with Haye - haye brings nothing to the table now....So i could imagine vitali putting down some ridiculous terms and no agreement being reached and Haye retiring.

Frustrating thing about the fight was Haye actually really troubled Klitschko when he landed cleanly.

Yeah I agree - I don't like Haye as a professional at all, I think he's a cock, his trash talking is way over the top and just not welcome in a Sport that is under enough scrutiny as it is and he makes Boxing look bad.

his "one-sided as a gang rape" comment to Harrison was monumentally stupid for someone who brags about his intelligence - his young daughter who joined in some of the PR build up to the fight must have been really proud of him. Still wanted him to win though, but he's not as great a boxer or person as he thinks he is.
