Well DeGale looked very impressive this evening. Handled Smith with relative ease. Smiths a decent domestic level fighter and was, on paper at least, DeGales toughest fight to date. DeGale's obviously a cut above domestic level. Be an interesting 18 months following this fella.

****ing hell, I'm amazed that Khan survived that those, big shots by Maidana almost dropped him. If Khan could take as good as he gives he'd be world class, unfortunately he can't, good fighter mind but not top class. If Khan survives he wins. One big shot which he is well capable of will be the final outcome.

Very good fight. The better, faster boxer won and im pleased for him. Im impressed at how Khan survived that one bad round where he was on the ropes, recovered well. Maidana just didn't have the strength and power to put him down

Outstanding fight, fromthinking he was gonna take Maidana out in the 1st to thinking he was cruising to a relatively easy points win to then seeing him lose it, how the **** he stood up to those shots ill never know, then hanging on grimly at the end. Very very good performance and at this moment I cant think of a better fight all year. Outstanding fight and performance from both fighters but especially amir.

Definitely deserves credit for that, showed a lot of heart and courage. Just think better boxers will give him a whole lot of trouble.

Good fight definitely, but for me the fight of the year was probably Marquez - Katsidis. That was just a display of huge punching and great athleticism. Also not that it makes a difference to me there was a stoppage, something that people love to see.
