Tiger Woods came under fire for his spitting again today as he wasted a chance to end nearly 15 months without a victory.
One off the lead entering the final round of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, the former world number one dropped to joint 20th with a 75 rounded off with a double-bogey seven on the final hole.
But it was on the 12th green that Sky Sports commentator Ewen Murray was disgusted by Woods' behaviour - just as he had been on Friday.
After missing a par putt the American spat just a few feet from the hole and Murray said: 'You look at his work ethics and he is a credit to the game and an inspiration to all of those who are trying to become professional golfers.
'But there are some parts of him that are just arrogant and petulant.
'Somebody now has to come behind him and maybe putt over his spit. It does not get much lower than that.'
Murray, who expects Woods to be fined by the European Tour for what he did, had called his spitting on a tee during the second round 'one of the ugliest things you will ever see on a golf course'.
Woods played his final round with Sergio Garcia, who four years ago caused outrage by spitting into a hole during a world championship.
Garcia has gone even longer than Woods without a win - 28 months - and also slumped to a closing 75.
The tournament was won by Spain's Alvaro Quiros by a shot from South African James Kingston and Dane Anders Hansen.

it is great to see some different major winners. But there is no sight in golf like Tiger on a hot streak, the energy he brings to the game is sorely missed. And it would great to see McIlroy going to head to head with an in form Tiger on the last day of a major. you cannot keep a talent like Woods down, once he gets his life back on track I am sure we will see him back at the top.
