12 out of 13 days now affected by the rain. Probably the only 12 days rain we've had in the last 6 weeks! Weather looks OK for tomorrow so could see England about 120 ahead at Lunch and then forecast dependent will determine how much more they bat on.

Weather for the evening looks grim so I'd likr to think they to T20 style for 30 minutes after lunch and then have a real go at them in the afternoon. Could have them 3 or 4 down by tea and then with a bit of luck another half hour after tea and a couple of hours tomorrow should be enough to wrap it up.

Rvrn if DL get past England cant see it being more than 50 so only need a real short spell to chase that down.

Its not been vintage, doesn't help that Sri Lanka appear to have little or no interest in the test series these days and everything revolves around one day and T20

                    England-India now.

Apparently if England win by 2 clear tests they go number 1 in the world. Cant see it happening yet though. India are very good.

Strauss fails to get a score again.

Trott and KP in to shore up the innings. Will be interesting to see how Peitersen performs looked like he had played his way back into a bit of form against Sri Lanka.

India dropped three so far today...

Some cracking chit chat on the BBC TMS Page

                        Cricketer TV Shows;

From Liam in Cambridge, TMS inbox: "On the subject of TV programmes, how about 'For whom the Bell tolls' - England batsman Ian Bell embarks on a light-hearted voyage of discovery around the toll bridges and roads of Britain, meeting many colourful characters along the way."

From Tom, Nottingham, TMS inbox: "Ideas for TV programme – Saved by the Bell. Ian Bell as a super hero saving people’s lives using only a cricket bat, box and a bail."

'Goochy Coochy Coo' where Graham spends a day helping out in the delivery suite of the local maternity unit.

Early tea because of light and now its raining :|

                          Yeah they've been quite amusing.

From Alexander Menary, TMS inbox: "New programme on BBC2 tonight: Broad's Broads: Stuart Broad takes in the Norfolk Broads by narrowboat on a light-hearted journey, meeting many colouful characters along the way."

From RP in London, TMS inbox: "Idea for TV programme- ‘Cooking Swanns’ – Ali Cook and Graeme Swann travel around Somerset, knocking off swans in the dead of night, trying not to get “”caught-out”. The winner is the one with the most swans in their holdall."

From Rob, Lichfield, TMS inbox: "How about 'To the Manor Vaughan'. Unrequited love through the corridors of uncertainty in a Yorkshire stately home."

From Matt in London, TMS inbox: "TV Show idea - " Broad Strokes ". England's fiery bowler aims to curb his over-boiling temper by petting various cute furry animals."

Couple of wickets for England in the morning session.

Is it 200 run margin to enforce the follow on in international cricket? Another qucik couple after lunch might be needed to give England a real boost and chance at winning.
