. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Hoy says Redgrave, because of what he had to do over 5 consecutive olympics to get his medals.
Yep Redgrave edges it for me. Spreading it over 5 Olympics is ridiculous and he also didn't complete in multiple events in the same Olympics. Still they are both incredible athletes
my heart says hoy but my head says redgrave (that didnt sound as gay in my head as it looks on screen)
hoy has more golds and more medals and that is an amazing acheivement but as the great man himself pointed out redgrave spread his over 5 consecutive olympics . . . . . i'll just sit on the fence and say they're equally the best olympian GB has ever had!
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.
