    Even* if he can keep this sort of form next year, it totally depends on the course.

    * Even, not evens.

    Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

    May the Lord bless this post.

      I think sponsors might influence the decision as well as his own ego?
      now the public loves him, will be a matter of weeks before he appears during an ad break

        Yes, I imagine he'll want to defend his title. But a lot can happen between now and then - form, fitness, etc.

              From 1st August riders are allowed to get into contract talks with professional trade teams other than their present one about next season.

              Obviously it doesn't apply to national teams.

                So they are all on short term or rolling contracts?

                  Just to be clear, you're asking me if cyclists are on rolling contracts, hmm?

                      Contracts typically last one or two years. Two is the norm for more experienced professionals. But the stars will be on longer ones. Cavendish's deal with Sky is three years I think.

                              Thats what I thought. So would have been a penalty corner which they could have scored anyway. Good save on that penalty corner at the end.
