Rebecca Romero won rowing silver in Athens 2004 and individual pursuit track cycling gold in Beijing.
She was the second woman to win medals at two different sports in the summer Olympics. A quick Wiki says Roswitha Krause (handball and swimming) of East Germany was the first.
An old girlfriend of mine knew Rebecca Romero. Said she wasn't very nice but very, very driven..
