Wait to the final. They will probably be stationary not giving an inch. Hoy was a master at this. Some riders like to see the other ahead so go slowly to force the position. Its incredibly tatical.

They're sprinters, they'd struggle to maintain these speeds for that long. Kenny in the worlds tried it against the french guy and Almost won.

Well they sprint for longer in the cycling. It's entirely different. They don't have the advantage of a team to help them in those races so they have to watch each other.
