On the Olympics, Newsnight was trying to put a downer on the whole 'legacy' side of it by saying that most of the sports we have done well in (rowing, horse dancing etc) were not available to the masses (using inner city London as an example).

Seemed a bit early to be trying to put a downer on everything - even by our medias standards...

the american girl, 17 year old Claressa Shields smashed her way past her experienced kazak opponent 29 points to 15.
