Dear oh dear oh dear. Pitiful batting performance. Swann and Prior are showing the top order how you are supposed to bat on a flat first day wicket.

Assuming that the pitch does turn as expected when England bat again it is very hard to see how England are going to avoid defeat from this position.

Got it on - it's unwatchable (not that I should be watching, just listening )....completely empty, no atmosphere....like watching a training session or a village game.

At least we've got over 150 on the board, could've been a lot worse.

Yeah it real shame none of the other top line batsmen showed his level of application. He's really shown them up.

Hope I'm wrong but I can see Pakistan making 400 (ish) and then it will be a real struggle batting third on this pitch.

Yeah supposed to be a decent batting pitch which may turn toward the end of the match

Pakistan 213 - 4 at tea. Trott picked up a 'Brucie bonus' just before tea when he got Younis, otherwise Pakistan were looking nailed on for 400 +

Swann only has one wicket thus far, but then Pakistan only have 2 left handers in this batting line up and one of them is already out.
