Ecclestone is a poisonous little despot.
Hamilton is finished at McLaren now, compare his behaviour to Button's last week when there was a pit stop issue - he said to the team "We all make mistakes, I did it last race lets move on..." Hamilton has a strop, shaking his head in the pit. He's pretty unpopular at the hq as well, he ignores staff there whereas Button gives everyone the time of day.
Reckon he could be Mercedes bound.

I've heard he's pretty popular at HQ I live just down the road and know people that work there.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostEcclestone is a poisonous little despot.

Although I do think he might move - Redbull or Ferrari would be the two I'd expect

Yeah, it's probably like that - I don't think he's as socialable as Button though.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostReally? I had a conversation with a guy who works there with his son who said the exact opposite - maybe its just horses for courses
Could see him being the Schumacher replacement. Ferrari whilst Alonso is there? Thats his team and he's adored there.
Yeah thats possible of course there are 3 seats with potential Schumacher, Massa and Webber.
Obviously there is the Alonso issue but for the team having a pairing of Alonso and Hamilton would be pretty appealing same goes for Redbull or Merc

Ferrari have no history of giving drivers equal billing though, they always operate by throwing their weight behind one driver and using the other to provide support. Last time they tried to have two racers whilst contenders would have been when Prost and Mansell were there together, and that didn't end very well.
Red Bull maybe though. I think they genuinely have tried to treat Webber the same but there is a bit of a gap in talent between the two to justify it.
Don't think Rosberg is up to being a world championship contender though, they need one of the big guns to come in and take the team to the next level. Could be ripe for a move to McLaren for di Resta then, which would be great for Britain.
