Di Resta looks a decent young driver although I feel he's more a Coultard who'll get a few wins do pretty well but will never manage to take that big step to be world champion ( hope I am wrong there)

He didn't get back to the pits and has to start from the back of the grid, you win a race and don't get back to the pits it seems to be ok.

The rules are clear. He didn't have enough fuel to complete the lap and give a sample. May have been second with enough fuel.

Doubtful he was miles ahead it also doesnt explain why a blind eye is turned to this at the end of the race - the rules as you say are clear!
