Normally termed illigal substitution or illegal participation depending on situation

It means they can absolutely pummel each other. Some of the tackling in American football is frightening.

I just youtubed it. It's not really tackling, most of the bigger hits involve the head, which means that you're forgoing any reasonable technique. Lack of arms as well. Any massive ****er can run into someone to take them out. I'm not a huge fan of league, but if you want to see quality big hits, that's where you'll find it.
