Kats is beyond shot. He was advised to retire last year because of adverse results in routine CAT and MRI scans.

It's a crying shame when a boxer reaches the stage that they just can't stop fighting long past their prime. See Roy Jones Jr and Danny Williams.

Hearn and Sky ought to be ashamed of themselves making out that this was some sort of meaningful fight.

A prime Kats would have wiped the floor with Coyle.

You could tell in the first round that Katsidis was a shadow of what he used to be.

If the same Katsidis that fought Kevin Mitchell was still there, Coyle would have been flattened.

On a separate note, Derry Matthews wants a shot at a world title

I struggle to think of a time that he has come across any other way.

                  Great fight.

The Lacey one was pretty good too, a boxing masterclass from Calzaghe.

                      Which was you going Spud?

I think Kovalev might have too much for him.

I'd love Hopkins to win this fight. He's the absolute master at nullifying his opponents strengths. Kovalev is a monster puncher but he's also a very good boxer. He and GGG are similar in the way in which they're almost always in a position to deliver power punches. Their footwork isn't found wanting all that often.

I'll go out on a limb and say Hopkins frustrates the **** out of Kovalev on the way to a UD

Its some achievement boxing for titles at pretty much 50, but the last few times I have seen Hopkins he's been really, really dull.

I'll climb out on that limb with you, and say that Hopkins is using this fight as a way to test the waters for a bout against GGG.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Do you think he could have a hope against GGG?
