you would have thought after talking up the Stephenson fight he would have learned, He should retire after another humiliation if he gets beat, but then his fists puts food on the table so will have to continue

Bellew is especially hypocritical because a few years ago he said that he didn't want to fight for very long. He said something about making as much money as quickly as possible then retiring. Can't remember what exactly but he had some real estate investment plan or something along those lines. Now it's like he's pretending that never happened. I've always been very neutral towards Cleverly, not a huge fan, but I'd love him to put Bellew on his place. Such a **** and an average at best fighter.

Stiverne-Wilder on Jan. 17 in Las Vegas?

              By Dan Rafael | ESPN.com

The long-overdue mandatory fight between heavyweight titlist Bermane Stiverne and Deontay Wilder appears to be set.

Two sources involved in the fight told ESPN.com that the fight is ticketed for Jan. 17 on Showtime at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Multiple purse bids were postponed, and then it was finally canceled as the camps slogged through a brutal negotiation. When they finally made a deal, they still didn’t have an exact date or site, but the fight had to take place no later than the first quarter of 2015.

Stiverne (24-1-1, 21 KOs), 36, a native of Haiti living and training in Las Vegas, knocked out Chris Arreola in the sixth round on May 10 in Los Angeles to win the world title vacated in December when Vitali Klitschko retired to focus on his political career in Ukraine.

Wilder (32-0, 32 KOs), 29, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was a 2008 U.S. Olympic bronze medalist and the last American man to medal in Olympic boxing. He has rolled to a perfect record and mandatory status despite never facing any opponent remotely close to being a top contender or going past the fourth round.

                @ Bellew!

Who the **** does he think he is!? FM!

Nathan doesn't do the whole 'i'm gonna knock your head off....spark out you're going down!' boxing spiel very well, seems quite an amiable type of guy tbh, total opposite of Bellend.

He's the epitomy of a deluded bitter though. "Ifithadn'tbeenfor..." type isn't he?

Bet he reckons that Joe Parkinson should have had 50 England caps.

He's an utter knob, as bad as Paul Smith who was on internet forums a few years back going mad at anyone who didn't say he was perfect. The 2nd thing Paul Smith mentioned in his interview ring side after the Abraham fight was how he'd "proved all the people who sit at home criticising wrong", thats the people who's opinion is meaningless and doesnt count anyway unless they've boxed according to him. So while he's calmed down on the forum stuff he's still got a mega chip on his shoulder.

Funnily enough Bellew used to be on ESB and was brilliant, informative and engaging. But he's a complete cunt once he gets infront of the camera and has also recently started the "I do it, you dont" "If you dont box you cant have an opinion" ****.

It's such a horrible attitude. If you're not a professional in that sport you're not entitled to any opinion whatsoever. May as well just give up watching any kind of sport then. What a ****.

Totally ridiculous. Imagine some actor forbidding us from having an opinion on a film they were in cos we've never acted? Ridiculous.

Actually I could reply with "I think you'll find, Mr Cruise, that I played the lead role in the Nativity play at primary school for 6 successive years. Cunt."

I agree, but boxing is one of the few sports where there's a lot of pundits whom haven't boxed professionally, some not even as amateurs. There's nothing I hate more than people like Max Kellerman or Larry Merchant calling guys like Victor Ortiz pussies and saying they have no heart for quitting during a fight, where they have never have the balls to get in the ring in the first place. It's something I can never wrap my head around and really gets to me.

Some of the greatest of all time like Willie Pep and Alexis Aguello have admitted giving up in the ring during fights as they were concerned to sustain serious damage. Then we have media men, that don't know what a punch feels like having a go at fighters who get into the ring professional knockout artists. Then they paint it as the 'ultimate sin'.

It also annoys me when ex-fighters with a huge number of fights under their belts like Roy Jones, Kelley or Foreman for example give some insight to fighting in the pocket or something very tactical specific and the media guy tries to argue with them despite having no person knowledge of the situation.

Regardless, completely different to what ****s like Bellew suggest. It's also worth noting that some of the best trainers ever haven't fought as pros either. Many of them were average amateurs at best, some didn't fight at all, which proves that theory bull****. If you can see a fight and styles you know, doesn't matter how good you are yourself.
