He looks a tidy fighter, but save for a couple of names his record appears very padded to my eyes. The Vargas win was a good one but think I would rate Berchelt more on the level of Sosa than being potentially any real threat to Lomachenko should their paths cross.
Lomachenko is just stupidly talented though, and he looks so seasoned already despite having only had nine pro bouts.
My guess would be that if Berchelt and Lomachenko were to go at it right now, then it would be a shorter night for Lomachenko than it was against Sosa. My logic there is that I suspect Berchelt (and it is based on nothing more than a gut feeling) does not have the sort of grit/pluck that Sosa showed whilst being outclassed.

I watched this the other day and thought it was a very good analysis. Dwyer imo, doesn't seem to follow hype. I felt he gave a compelling argument for Klitschko winning the fight. I also thought some of the things he said about Fury is true. He may have a body of a pub fighter but he definitely has skills. Anyway, if you have a spare 30 mins give this a watch. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this video, Jaco.

Dwyer is like one of those football/horse racing tip lines that you could call back in the day.
"The 3.15 at Kempton is an intriguing race. I know who is bet on if i were you and i will tell you who. Just as soon as i list the eight reasons why you should bet the horse.'
TBH you can't argue with a lot of what he says regarding the fight.
Looking forward to it.

Yeah he makes a lot of points that are hard to argue with, but christ he could have just done a 10 minute vid rather than a 30 minute one. He talks a lot of sense in it alright.
To be fair though, I reckon a similar list of reasonable points could be made for Joshua victory.
For me the only question is how much Klitschko has in the tank. He looked awful against Fury, and it was a stinker of a fight to watch. But did Klitschko look that bad because he is fading, or did he look that bad because Fury made him look so?
Styles make fights though, and Klitschko strikes me as a very calculating man who would not be getting into the ring with Joshua if he had even the slightest doubts about his own abilities.
If Klitschko is 75% of what he was at his peak, then he is the favourite for me as 75% of a world class boxer, and he was that at his peak, is still going to be better than nearly anyone in the top ten. A lot of fighters will talk tough before getting into the ring for a bout they have no real chance in, but have a feeling that Klitschko is not that type of man. My guess is that he only gets in the ring if he is backing his own ability. I see him as taking a Sun Tzu type mindset - If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight
The question about Joshua has to be is he right now a world class boxer or even 75% of the way towards being one?
Klitschko for me though, and if Joshua wins then it will be a genuine top notch W on his record.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Yes, I think this fight suits Klitschko a whole lot more than the Fury fight did, and that's why he's taken it on.
With Joshua's rigid style, if keeps walking onto Klitschko's jab, then I could see him wearing Joshua down and maybe forcing a late stoppage.
On the other hand, problems with Fury's awkward style aside, Klitschko looked completely shot that night. It's been a year and half since then! He's the wrong side of 40 now. Is he physically up to it? Is he mentally up for someone with Joshua's energy and aggression?
Can't wait to find out
