Fury will definitely out box Wilder for however long the fight lasts. He'll confuse Wilder by switch hitting, and use his 3 stone weight advantage in the clinch, lean on him and look to tire Wilder out. My concern is at some point Wilder will probably land clean which could end the fight in a flash.

      Your concern is my hope

Fury's additional weight is fat that he's carrying. Not really sure how that assists in a fighting context.

          Final predictions anyone?

I desperately want Fury to win this but my head says Wilder win by KO/TKO rounds 6-9.

It's difficult to assess Fury at the moment - his last two to 'comeback' fights were poor but maybe he only performed to the level of his opposition, and maybe he'll raise his game/motivation a lot more for Wilder. He should have improved a lot in the last couple of months now he's got the weight down, the training for his two comeback fights had a big focus on weight loss rather than boxing.

Is his weight loss a factor? Might he struggle in the later rounds if he can't dictate a slow pace with a lot of clinching?

By the way, despite the purist disdain for the fight, if people like me (but less of a ) are interested then it must be good for boxing.

I'm keen on the element of uncertainty. When the big men fight, it's quite exciting when nobody quite knows what will happen. I'd be happy with **** boxing but a big surprise

Weight loss is certainly a factor as is the ketogenic diet he allegedly been on (although i don't believe much that i hear from fighters). Endurance is a cornerstone of boxing unless you're a banger and fury isn't. He's had plenty of prep but isn't exactly ring sharp either.

My prediction is a 4-6 Wilder KO. A part of that comes from the heart mind you.

                          Sounds like you were right

Tyson is what we call in the gym is old-schooling him. He is taking him to school, and Deontay is beginning to second guess himself. Tyson is looking very comfortable right now in this fight.
