Khan was much better throwing in quick bursts and getting out of range.

Still made a couple of mistakes and got caught a couple of times but Molina didn't have any power to trouble him.

Credit to Molina though he took a shed load of punches but kept coming forward, tough fella.

Khan will always look good against blown up lightweights with no power.

Still leaves his chin out far too much, this kid who shouldn't bother him at all did with a couple of punches.

        Better performance though
The times they are a changin'.

Should take Lamont Peterson. Khan is a great watch and backed by Goldenboy soI think he will be fighting for a title too soon. I agree....needs a couple of fights before fighting someone heavy handed.

He also needs to prove that he isnt chinny......You saw it tongiht, Moliba was ****e but he was still hoping and looking for that 1 punch that drops Khan.

Knocked his man out in the 3rd.

He can hit hard no doubt and a 26-0 record looks impressive but they need to step him up a level now as he is fighting nobodies.

heard a he had a decent rep but ****ing hell his record of fighting bums would make Fraudley's look decent. That bloke he fought hardly knew how to stand properly, Sparked him with a cracking punch but he made Amir Khan look like a defensive Genius.

David Price to fight American Tony Thompson in February

David Price will attempt to take his next step towards a world heavyweight title challenge when he faces American Tony Thompson in Liverpool next year.

The 29-year-old British and Commonwealth holder will face Thompson on 23 February after winning all four of his 2012 fights by knockout.

Thompson, 41, has challenged twice for the world title, losing to WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko in July.

"It's the right fight at the right time for David," said promoter Frank Maloney

"And one where a win will propel him even higher.

"Thompson still has ambition and I am certain that he will come to win and score a major upset."

Liverpudlian Price, an Olympic bronze medallist in 2008, is unbeaten in 15 professional fights, with 13 knockouts.

His most recent victory came with a second-round knockout of Matt Skelton in Liverpool on 30 November.

After that fight, Price indicated that he felt a fight against Thompson would mark a step up into the world-class category.

"If he was good enough to fight Wladimir Klitschko six months ago, he's good enough to fight me," Price said.

Promoter Frank Maloney said recently he will have "failed" if Price is not a world champion by the end of 2013.

Thompson has 36 wins from 39 fights, stopping 24 of his opponents, and has lost twice to Klitschko.

At least it's a step up though I suspect he's coming to lose. Price must have something against men over 40 years old!

Hes getting there though, hes certainly a lot better than that **** Fury.

Hopefully this next generation of heavyweights will actually make the division interesting again.

Amir Khan is looking at returning to the ring in April, following his victory over Carlos Molina in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The Bolton boxer wants one more fight before a rematch with Danny Garcia, who took Khan's WBA light-welterweight title in July.

"The next fight is going to be around April time," Khan told PA Sport.

"That will give me a nice little break. Then I want to be back in the ring again and then trying for the rematch with Danny Garcia."

A rematch between Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler is "very close" to being agreed for May at London's O2 Arena.

Nottingham's three-time world super-middleweight champion Froch was outpointed by Kessler in 2010.

And according to a source in Froch's camp he is prepared to relinquish his IBF title in order to make a return match with his Danish rival happen.

The first one was one of the best fights I have ever seen. Both of them have looked awesome since too. Two proper hard fellas battering each other

Looking forward to this one, two of the absolute best fighters to watch at the moment
