Former Olympic super heavyweight champion Audley Harrison will make his boxing return on 23 February as part of the Prizefighter series. The 41-year-old previously won the tournament in October 2009.

Ricky Burns will take on talented Mexican Miguel Vazquez in a mouth-watering lightweight unification fight at Wembley Arena on March 16.

'Rickster' recently missed out on a fight with WBC champion Adrien Broner, because the proposed February date came too soon after a long camp for his December fight that was eventually scrapped.

However, promoter Frank Warren has pulled a rabbit out of the hat by matching IBF champion Vazquez (33-3) with his WBO title holder.

The light-punching Vazquez picked up the strap in 2010 and will be making his fifth defence, two of which came within six weeks of each other at the end of last year.

Scotland's Burns made two defences of his belt in 2012, scoring an impressive stoppage victory over Kevin Mitchell in September.

Vazquez campaigned at light-welterweight for much of his early career, suffering two early losses to then up-and-coming countryman Saul Alvarez.

The only other defeat on his impressive CV came against the still-unbeaten WBO light-welterweight Timothy Bradley.

On a cracking show, Nathan Cleverly makes a mandatory defence of his WBO light-heavyweight title against Robin Krasniqi while George Groves fights Mohamed Ali Ndiaye for the European super-middleweight strap.

The bill also marks the return of heavyweight Dereck Chisora.

Steve Collins just on the radio saying he is close to agreeing a fight with Roy Jones Jnr this year. He is now 48 and retired in 1997.

Do we really need to see that?

We really don't need to see that at all. Roy Jones Jnr was the best boxer of the 90's and he really should have hung the gloves up as well.

Steve Collins has said he is ready to make an incredible return to the ring and face long-time rival Roy Jones Jnr.

The 48-year-old Irishman last boxed in July 1997, beating little known American Craig Cummings in three rounds.

Collins claims that he wanted to face Jones Jnr during the 1990s, when the American was widely regarded as one of the best boxers on the planet , but his calls for the match-up were always knocked back.

Now, though, he feels the fight can finally happen either in the UK or the United States.

"It's not a comeback as such, at my age I'm too old for that, but it will be the end of a 15-year grudge," he said on the Keys and Gray on TalkSport.

"It's a fight Roy Jones needs. He claims to be one of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters around but he refused to fight me.

"I was very happy with my career, but the one fight I wanted was Roy Jones, and when that didn't happen I retired. To me he was afraid of me. I don't think he's a coward, but at the time he was!

"But now it's happening. I spoke to Roy and we're going to get it on. He wants one more fight before he retires and this is the one he wants."

He added that he is set to take medical tests in the next week and will only go ahead with the match-up if he is given the all clear.

Collins retired on 2 October 1997, nine days before he was due to defend his WBO super-middleweight title against Joe Calzaghe in Sheffield. He cited the collapse of talks with Jones Jnr as one of the reasons for hanging his gloves up at time

A rematch between Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler is "very close" to being agreed for May at London's O2 Arena.

Nottingham's three-time world super-middleweight champion Froch was outpointed by Kessler in 2010.

And according to a source in Froch's camp he is prepared to relinquish his IBF title in order to make a return match with his Danish rival happen.
