I rang his office trying to buy tickets for the first Lewis Holyfield fight in 1999.
He answered the phone himself and we ended up having a chat for 5 minutes or so.He'd been on the phone to Don King and thought it was him ringing back.

Bradley wins via split decision. It should have been UD imo but one of the judges was obviously watching a different fight.

For me I can see how that fight could've been scored any which way. Purely because both guys missed the majority of their punches and there wasn't too much to go for through the scoring. Bradley's jab came into play a lot. The majority of them missed, however they stifled JMM and meant that he couldn't get into the fight. Punch stats show, Marquez landed many more power punches than Bradley - overall punch stats in terms of volume and accuracy are very close.

Was a bit of a nothing fight really IMO, which is what I thought it would be and wasn't very interested in it from the get go.

            Just watch JMM vs Bradley.

I scored it a draw. A lot of the rounds were very, very close.

Sky Sports commentators got their mouths around Bradley's dick from around the 5th and never let it go. Watch the last couple of rounds with the sound muted.

Fair play to Bradley showed no real lasting effects from his previous fight and also had JMM down in the last. Don't see him having a chance against Floyd if they were ever to get it on.

JMM is one of my all time heros in the boxing ring so that may go some way to explaining my draw scorecard

Other @SHOsports date Schaefer said is also done is 11/30 in San Antonio: @TheRealDevonA vs. Shawn Porter and Leo Santa Cruz vs. Cesar Seda

No surprise that Khan declined to fight Alexander. That said, a Mayweather fight for Khan is by no means a done deal at all. #boxing

Where does Khan go from here then? I really think he's making a big big mistake if he doesn't have at least one warm up fight at 147 before facing Mayweather.

I agree, I am still unsure as to why Khan deserves a shot at Mayweather at present tbh.

A fight with Alexander is something he should certainly be taking on first and for me I'm not sure he'd get past him anyway.

I could be wrong but I get the feeling Khan isn't totally convinced he could beat Devon and probably realises if he loses the fight his chances of fighting Mayweather would have been gone forever. I just get the feeling that in the next month or two it'll be confirmed that Mayweather and Khan will fight next May. It's not the fight I want to see but it's looking likely innit mate?

I think you're probably right tbh, if he gets a crack at Mayweather I hope he makes a good fist of it, can't see it being anything other than the usual outcome but I guess I'd say that against anyone fighting Mayweather.

Massive pay day for Amir if if he does get this fight

If the chance is there to fight Mayweather now, surely Kahn has to take it. He may not get another opportunity. Despite the obvious financial draw, he probably hopes he can catch Mayweather on a bad night, fluke a result and go down in boxing history forever. If he loses, it will make little difference as he's lost to the best and is young enough to get his career back on track like after his other defeats.

It's a win/win for him IMO, and it's hardly as if a couple of more fights for him will change the end result.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Which is why if Mayweather fight is on, He would be crazy to take another fight/......Why jeopardize the pay day of his life with a risky fight, And lets face it, with Khan any fight would be a risk

And that is exactly why it would be a massive box office hit, which is music to Mayweather's ears.
