****ing Jim one-eyed Watt going on endlessly about Burns's Jaw. He's just been outclassed when he's met a couple of decent fighters, it's nothing to do with fear or injury. No shame in it mind, he's been a bloody good fighter who's just come up against one or two better. Beltran was robbed last fight, Burns was lucky to be able to defend again. This Crawford lad looks like a good one, who could go on to bigger and better things assuming he doesn't blow this in the last two rounds.

Vasyl Lomachenko WBO title hopes ended by Orlando Salido

Vasyl Lomachenko's attempt to claim the WBO featherweight title in only his second professional bout ended with defeat by Mexican Orlando Salido.

The 26-year-old Ukrainian, who claimed Olympic gold at both the 2008 Beijing and London 2012 Games, beat another Mexican figher, Jose Ramirez, on his professional debut in October.

But he lost a split points decision against Salido, 33, in San Antonio.
Salido did not make the weight for the fight, so the title will become vacant.

He had already stated the bout would be his last as a featherweight.

Lomachenko was widely regarded as the best amateur boxer of all time, having built an alleged 396-1 record.

He went into the Salido fight in confident mood.

"My argument is two gold medals from the Olympics, two gold medals from the World Amateur Championships and my first professional bout was a knockout with a guy who was in the top 10," said the Ukrainian.

I just saw on TV some massive Samoan Australian guy going for the heavyweight title in April. Does he stand a chance?

Nope. He's tiny compared to Wlad anyway even if he did have the ability which he doesnt.

That said maybe the Ukraine stuff has ****ed Wlad's head up so ya never know I guess.

Me and a mate have just booked our hotel and trains down to London for the Froch Groves fight

Better get a ticket next week. Might get a couple of others to try and get them as well and then sell them on if we all get them - only need 2.

See Mayweather has said that if Khan beats Broner he will fight him.

                            Be interesting fight that.

He's not massive at all. He's only 6ft. Wladimir Klitschko is 6ft 6. He sounds like an absolute bum this guy. Another dreadful mismatch.

I think he's about 10kg heavier. Oh well, he has an interesting history and he's very humble so I wish him all the best.

He's also the first Australian in a century to have a crack at the title!
