I guess he'll want Ward again and then call it a day, I'd be very surprised if Froch has any interest in fighting Degale
Hope he does think he can take Ward and pushes for that match up. For my money Ward is a more rounded fighter now to when he first fought and beat Froch.
Ward 2014 at his best beats Froch 2014 at his best imo, and would not be surprised to see the ref save Froch if the fight gets made for late in the year.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Yeah It'll be Chavez or no one. Abraham?! That'd get about 2000 people turn up if they're lucky. And no one gives a **** about Ward outside of California, the first Froch fight had a miserable attendance, it wasn't fan friendly and Ward has barely had a fight since due to being lazy and now in a promotional mess.Originally posted by Chazza View PostMore likely to be Chavez

the 'agreement' was 120 days, Hearn said last night, Although i reckon that something will have been said with regards the winner as it makes sense for Groves v De Gale even if he won. For Froch, De Gale makes no sense.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostNope he's had two mandatory fights in a row so doesn't need to fight the mandatory immediately_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?

and Ward beats Froch 99 times out of 100Originally posted by captainfog View PostSaying on the radio that no chance of a fight with Ward and mainly because Ward doesn't bring the crowds and therefore doesn't bring the money.
Notable that neither Froch nor Hearn mentioned Ward in their post fight interviews.

I mean the pundits were saying that, not Froch.Originally posted by spud_gun View Postand Ward beats Froch 99 times out of 100

He'll want one final big pay day, that's for sure.

Definitely, the way he fell, he was finished. If he got up and the ref allowed him to continue, it wouldn't have been pretty.
The way things were starting to transpire, I started to think that Groves was going to win the fight, he was starting to land the right hand more consistently. But he got caught with a fantastic shot, which really surprised me because Froch doesn't really have a record of one punch knock outs. Usually he does his damage through flurries of punches, but that was a beauty.

What a night it was
Don't know how it came across on TV but being there was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was electric and it felt very, very special.
One thing I didn't like was people booing Khan - why boo him ffs
there did seem to be a large amount of 'plastic' fans this time around, but then again that is to be expected with a fight of this magnitude.
As soon as that punch landed you knew it was game over. What a shot - completely out of the blue. Haven't had a chance to watch it back yet but I had Groves ahead by one round which seems to be against most people. Still, what a night and it was awesome to be there!
DeGale vs Groves II makes sense - possibly for the vacant IBF when Froch doesnt take the DeGale fight?
