thats my take on him i just can't take him, before one of his fights not so long ago he said something along the lines "being from liverpool you have to be a fighter" it just sounded so stupid and in my opinion put the city in poor light.

Tyson Fury threats towards Dereck Chisora to be investigated

The British Boxing Board of Control say they will meet to discuss Tyson Fury's behaviour at his news conference with Dereck Chisora.

Fury offered to fight Chisora at the event, held to promote the pair's world heavyweight title eliminator in Manchester on 26 July.

The board's general secretary Robert Smith says he has received complaints about Fury from members of the public.

"I offer my apologies to anyone who has been offended," said Smith.

"I have received numerous complaints about the behaviour of Tyson Fury from the media and members of the public. I am concerned and disappointed.

"The matter will be discussed at the board meeting on Wednesday, and I will issue a further statement thereafter."

The British pair will meet in Manchester with the winner set to challenge IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Chisora, 30, will put his European heavyweight title on the line as he looks to avenge a 2011 defeat on points by Fury. The vacant British crown will also be up for grabs.

At the news conference, Fury offered a £10,000 wager on the fight.

Then, when the pair rose to shake hands, Fury launched into a foul-mouthed tirade against his opponent, threw down his jacket and offered to fight Chisora on the stage of the London cinema where the event was being held.

Did he start talking about how the word gypsy is offensive and speaks volumes about those that use the word while simultaneously dishing out vast quantities of homophobic bile?

Who do you rate as the next top Heavyweight anyway? Is there a better young prospect out there than Joshua?

Would have more than slight concerns over his abilities at a higher level, but basically yes. But the lack of quality coming through the heavyweight ranks will mean he has a good shot at wearing a strap.

As for better young prospects. Well the heavyweight division is pretty bare on that front hence so much being made out of the likes of Joshua. To be honest I would struggle to to name any young heavies in the paid ranks that are real stand outs.

Most of the top prospects nowadays are in the 24/25 to 28 age bracket, with some "prospects" being even older.

Joshua is 24, and will be 25 this year. - 7 fights

Andy Ruiz is 24, turns 25 later in the year - 22 fights

Glazkov turned 30 this year. - 17 fights

Mike Perez. Turns 29 this year. -21 fights

Bryant Jennings is 29 and will be 30 this year. - 18 fights

Deontay Wilder is 28 and will be 29 later this year. - 31 fights

Hell you even have 33 year olds like Kubrat Pulev who are only 20 fights into a pro career that are getting a title shot. Although to be fair to Pulev he has beaten a couple of solid if unspectacular fighters along the way.

Throw in Tyson Fury who turns 26 next month and who has had 22 fights.

And there you have a list of the names that would probably pop up on most Heavyweight "prospect" lists at the moment.

Not exactly an inspiring list of names to be a shortlist of potential future heavyweight champions of the world.

Eddie once again putting his fighters in with people they've little to no chance against.

Smith will need to punch Abraham's head off to get a decision out there.

They'll have to refund all the £120 of PPV revenue the event generated.
