Far too late. Doubt Manny still has the speed to win it now and Floyd knows that

Wow, if that was the undercard that would be an unbelievable night, possibly the greatest ever.Originally posted by leo View PostKhan v Garcia if possible would make this a very special night.

Anyone think Mayweather has tarnished his legacy by hand picking who he fights. The fighters who could trouble him have been kept at arms length as best he can. I mean, Pac should have fought him years ago, same with Kahn now. Both fighters with speed who could pose a problem for him.
It's a shame, but for someone who should have been considered an all time Great won't be there.*Except Michael, who died.

PBF on points innit. Still fascinating though.

edit: But, there's just that chance, small, but it's there, that Manny can catch FM with the sweetest shot and put him down, only because sport has a way of throwing up such events.
That's probably the main reason many will be watching.
It's good versus evil, Manny handing out dollars and now with money troubles, against the Evil super rich Fm, selling merchandise and getting every cent he can from his fans.

Are we talking about the same Khan who lost to Lamont Peterson?
C'mon his speed might cause an issue for a couple of rounds but May weather would adjust and dismantle him handily.

Ok not avoiding then. But he is certainly picking people at the right time. De La Hoya was on the wane, Alvarez was a bit too green, Shane Mosley was on the way down, Hatton was on the way out and its the same with Pacquiao now.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostEh? Who else has he avoided?
Im not saying he isnt one of the best ever. But he picks his fights better than most have done. When was the last fight he had that you thought 'Yep, these two are at the absolute peak of their powers'
Sounds like I have a downer on this undefeated boxer. He has beaten everyone put in front of him, but the only issue I have is that he is the one putting people in front of him, if you get me.*Except Michael, who died.
