Nah would not regard Maidana as having genuine power. He has stopped a lot of fighters, but have a look at his record. He has a horribly padded record, and I reckon if Khan got in with him again then he would not make the mistakes he did five years ago that allowed Maidana back into that fight.
Would fancy Khan to stop him if they were to meet again.
As for Garcia, he is certainly not a big hitter and he tends to rely on the cumulative effect of punches to prime his opponent rather than having one big shot that he can use on a regular basis.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Just catching up on the fights from tonight, and thought Joshua looked pretty good.
Johnson was awful, but Joshua moved better than I have seen him do in other fights and he was doing a lot of the basics a lot better as well. Had the look of a guy who is working hard to try and iron out the kinks.
He is still reminding me of a very tall version of Bruce Seldon, but that is not means as a pop at him. It is more an observation on who his movement/style reminds me of at this point in his career.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Brook - Gavin was a mismatch.
Rios would be a big step up on Frankie Gavin, but Brook would need to be going after better again if he wants to try and get something on with Khan.
He might have a strap at the moment, but see him as being on a level below the likes of Khan. He is certainly the weak link amongst the current welterweight strap holders although Thurman is hardly on the most solid of ground as of yet on that front either.I don't hate people. Johnson looked awful. Did not look properly conditioned, did not look motivated, and pretty much gave the impression he was just there for the payday.
Then again he is a fighter who, including the Joshua bout, has lost six out of his last seven fights whereas he had only lost one from thirty fights before those seven fight bouts.
But poor as Johnson was, it should not take away from the fact that Joshua did look tighter than normal, and he did look like a guy who had been working on flaws in the build up.
I still have reservations about Joshua. His power, movement, and defence all have question marks over them for me, but at least he is showing some signs of improvement when it comes to the second and third of those reservations.
I think in many ways Joshua is quite lucky with the era he is competing in as there is a horrible lack of quality in the heavyweight division and just as great a lack of young heavyweights of potential coming through the ranks.
In a better era, and not even a prime Heavy era, I reckon Joshua would have been exposed and chewed up, but in his own era he stands a very decent chance of mopping up on the domestic front and if he avoids Wlad and a couple of other internationally then he could very well find himself with a strap on his shoulder before next summer.
Not saying it is "right" to work your way to a strap without facing quality, but the dearth of quality in the division means this route is even more open than normal for any easy to market heavyweight (by that I mean the guys who have the right "look" and who have the KO ratio to sound like they are monsters) with Deontay Wilder being a great example of such a heavyweight.I don't hate people.
