Where would be a good spot in Liverpool to watch the Joshua fight and what time are they likely to be walking to the ring?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Dunno if they'll be showing it but if they are the Camp & Furnace would be a great place to watch the fight.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Still never been there. Planned to go watch a match there before, but Claire read somewhere that someone seen rats there, so she vetoed it and still won't go.

Don't tell her about the mice infestation at Liverpool One then!

I'm amazed at how many seem to find this Shannon Briggs stuff funny, tedious as ****. Classic Haye though, his amazing comeback will be 2 scrubs and a shot pensioner who Vitali beat in to a hospital bed 6 ****ing years ago. Embarrassing, still he sells a load of tickets before he's even announced an opponent so why do much else?

Depressing though as he used to be the complete opposite of this.

I had a chuckle when I checked Briggs record on Boxrec and seen he had George Foreman on there.

                    Yep, he's been around forever.

boxing is normally a decent money spinner so you wont go far to find a pub with it on, depends on where your staying/other plans

We usually stay in Victoria Street and probably would have watched it in the wee bar there (Victoria's). Forgot about Grand National though and left it late to book, so staying at the docks this time. Like you say, we'll just see what happens and where we are as somewhere close by should be showing it.

Chances are I could be home in bed by the time it's on, so will probably end up watching on Kodi.

I saw the Whyte fight for the first time the other day. Joshua didn't look ready for a title fight to me.

What's the consensus view? Is it too soon for him?. Or is Martin a bit ****?

Yeah that is true but it was when he was at cruiserweight. His heavyweight career has been very patchy and it is probably being kind to call it that.

Keep saying it and someone will respond.

I know very little about him apart from he's a southpaw with a decent overhand left.

Sounds like the plan is to take Joshua into the later rounds as they think all the muscle he has will mean his stamina is not great.

They would need to be very confident of their own man's stamina to be going for that. Martin has only gone ten rounds once in his career to date and just as he is the best fighter that Joshua has faced to date, Joshua is going to be the biggest test that Martin will have faced so far.

I am not really counting Glazkov as the best Martin has faced and beaten as that fight ended early thanks to a knee injury.

Could be an entertaining fight to watch as neither has gone in against anyone really decent yet, and both guys are willing to let fly rather than grind out a cagey result. Plus both guys tend to leave themselves more than a bit open when on the front foot.

Would fancy Joshua to win in a similar fashion to how he won against Whyte. Joshua has quicker hands imho, and Martin throws in a similar clubbing style to what Whyte does. Think Joshua's speed and neater style (compared to Martin's) will see him land the cleaner and heavier punches.

Joshua in five or six for me. Which is probably the kiss of death for Joshua now
