that Liam Payne muppet, I've seen he's been calling a few people out but zero evidence of him ever fighting or even throwing a punch

I see only one direction the way the fight will go, and that's a wine for Payne.

Never was anything other than a hype job to get mugs talking about the next big thing.

One of the easiest hype jobs to call in advance.

Any of Fury, Usyk, Joshua and even muck like Wilder would beat him.

Pretty sure I was saying the same last year about him and saying that the first hard hitter he meets will just plow through his awful defence.

Think I also said something about how he and Zhang should be paired toegther just so one big lump could be removed from the hype train. Think I slightly favoured Joyce last year for that match up so that gives an idea of how **** I think Zhang is and how **** Joyce must actually be to be beaten by Zhang.

Tyson Fury missed a trick not getting Joyce sooner, again something said in this thread, because Fury would have looked a million dollars against Joyce and been the one to take his zero away with ease. Fury would have looked an absolute beast against Joyce.

I agree with you, but you did also say that he needed to beat someone like Parker to deserve some respect, and to be fair to him he went and did that and didn't hide from Zhang as he might have done. He's a hype job, but not one who avoids a challenge.

Ironically might his defeat provide him with a few more opportunities? The top four might now see him as an ideal opponent in between the mega fights (as someone who is durable but who they can compete to stop quickest), whereas before they might have been wary of the unbeaten record?

No shame in it mind, he's been a bloody good fighter who's just come up against one or two better. Beltran was robbed last fight, Burns was lucky to be able to defend again. This Crawford lad looks like a good one, who could go on to bigger and better things assuming he doesn't blow this in the last two rounds.
By the way. While we're revisiting your entirely correct predictions regarding Joe Joyce Jaco, I was searching what I'd said about him previously in this thread. Couldn't find anything, but I did find this prediction of mine from 2014 that I found funny to read back

It might but I think they have all missed the boat with him in terms of being the one that takes away his zero and beating him whilst he still had an aura.

He was a bit of a Michael Grant to now. Big hyped record, a supposed monster that could not be stopped.

One of the top, and I use that term usely given the quality of some of those that get called that, heavies missed out on the chance of being the Lennox Lewis in that analogy.

Still stand by the old predictions from last year or whenever it was.

Fury, even an out of shape Fury, would have destroyed Joyce. Wouyld have lasted as long as Fury let it last.

Usyk would make a fool out of Joyce and just pick him off on the way to a stoppage.

Joshua might have made hard work of it (don't see anyone anymore disagreeing with the comments about him being a bigger Bruce Seldon - that comment had a lot of LMAOs heading my way some years back) but he would stop Joyce as well imo.

And bum Wilder, easily the worst boxer to be called a Top heavy in many a year, would have stopped Joyce. Wilder might miss a ton of shots but Joyce would just stand so still that enough would land.

Joyce is in there with the likes of Parker and Zhang in terms of quality. Guys that yesteryear would struggle to be seen as decent journeymen.

He needs to cash in as fast as he can after that loss though. At 37 years of age, mad that the media tried to make him out to be some up and coming kid, time is against him to get that big pay day.

Same goes for Zhang at 39 years of age. He needs to get a big pay day on the back of that win. As badly limited as Zhang is, I think that win will now see Joshua, Wilder and maybe Fury avoid him. Cash cows, especially Joshua and Wilder, avoiding even slight risk.

Usyk I could see facing him as I do not think Usyk is bothered by size if he thinks he can out box you and wear you down and there are very few, if any, fighters in the division that he could not out box.
