    England Summer Test Cricket

    This has snuck up on me completly.

    England Vs West Indies starts today at 10.45

    I didn't even see that there was a squad announced.

    Yeah it has kind of snuck up with all the football news. Bairstow getting a chance will be interesting. You would have thought in early English summer conditions we would win pretty easily.

      Well this West Indies team aren't brilliant. Hopefully its just a chance for England to consolidate as Number 1 before South Africa then India.

                He's not the only one there, Pollard, Bravo and Narine are too. England should comfortably win this game.

                    Is the best tactic for avoiding defeat that the WI can come up with to avoid bowling overs at a tolerable rate?

                    Supposed to be targeted to 30 overs a session, managed 70 and its 5.20pm (take 2 off for the innings change) and within the next 40 minutes they have to bowl 18 overs.

                          It's getting ridiculous - you have to wonder whether it has played a part in the wickets we have lost too as we seem to be trying to force the scoring rate to compensate.
