Freddie out. Deserved a century but had a rush of blood with Monty at the other end.

89, his best score of the tour.

I wonder if Fletcher had a point r.e. Reed and Pannesar's batting. Perhaps there was a degree of method in their madness when selecting Jones and Giles.

                Anyhow

To be honest, if you are getting down to Reed, Pannesar, Jones and Giles to help you win the match with their batting then you are ****ed anyway

I watched this last night til Fred's dismissal and it was very very frustrating. Flintoff batted so well until his charge down the track - why he felt the need to try and hammer it two miles out of the ground is beyond me. He deserved a century until that moment of madness.

Our bottom four have contributed 115 runs in the entire series so far, compared to around 390 in 2005.

I hope Warne gets his 50. Gilly was never out
