Trousers, padded under shorts, a jacket and shoes. All match my bike colours

Ive really enjoyed what I have done too. I find myself looking forward to going out for a ride.

Its making me more determined to get a new bike. I mean, I want one. But I want it now instead of Christmas

            Interest free finance FTW

Seriously, why not do that if you want it now? Better to get it whilst the weather is still reasonable, no?

Where does it? Did you do it? Now is the best time for me to do it really. I just got a nice little pay rise, so I wont miss the money if I do.

Evans do it. I got my bike from Hargroves Cycles and they do it.

                DO IT.

                  Cool.

Im looking into my Employer doing the ride to work scheme. You can get up to 42% off. See if they can swing anything for me. I work from home a lot though so it could be a problem.

Does your Employer not currently do it then?

I work with people who have used the scheme but have never once actually cycled to work.

There is only 5 of us who work here. 2 are over 65 and one is part time. The other is my mate (The Owner) and me. So its not something that has come up before

                        With a gel saddle though

No real cyclist has a gel saddle cover. You're breaking the law there, and you won't be taken seriously. Do the time and break your ass in properly.

I'm looking to get back on the bike with a view to using it for short time aerobic fitness, as in 45 minute blasts. I'm not a fan of long distance cycling, the commitment and selfishness of the sport screws with relationships and to be honest, most people normally end up with pipe cleaner arms, a pot belly and big legs. Cycling gets addictive, but you've got to be careful it doesnt take over. I've spent years on the bike and seen mates do the same as well, on our days off we get out early and come back late, hit the shower, couch and bed and do the same again the next day. Leaving the family/partner/both at home on our only days off. It's a balancing act, but it can take over your life and the benefits are not too great. Concentrate on riding hard for an hour tops I'd say, do a long ride once in a while, but not on all your days off, if you have people that love you at home.

I have absolutely no fat on my arse as I'm a skinny ****er, so I need all the padding I can get

To be honest though, I didn't notice a great deal difference with the gel seat cover.

I have a skinny ass, it only takes a few weeks to break it in.

All I'm saying is just keep an eye on the time you spend on the bike, it becomes a religion to some and you end up getting sucked in. It normally starts with spending loads of money on clothing and accessories
