Unbelievable scenes! Late to the party on here

I went the pub yesterday and watched it from start to finish...the atmosphere was brilliant in the pub, and got pretty ****ing pissed...rough today

What a performance....unbelievable scenes, one of the greatest sporting events I've ever witnessed...even mates of mine who hate golf and slag it off where caught up in it all.

Still no idea how that happened...watched the highlights twice this morning on sky

Re going to the Ryder cup...my dad has been and hated it....when you think of say the open, where you get 40k fans a day but you have like 50 groups to choose from...at the Ryder cup you get 40k fans but days one and two you get four and Sunday the 12 singles...it's meant to be carnage, miss loads of golf, hard to keep up with what's happening etc

-- Keegan Bradley is abducted.

-- Team USA captain Davis Love III inserts Cup spectators Michael Jordan, President George W. Bush, Amy Mickelson and the Rev. Jesse Jackson into the singles lineup.

-- Lee Westwood: U.S. citizen.


-- Marty McFly shows Team Europe captain Jose Maria Olazabal how to go back in time. Last Friday morning will do.

-- Team Europe wins eight of the remaining 12 matches to retain the cup.

Never mind. It's over. Olazabal can click off the walkie-talkie and take the IFB out of his ear. Time for the Europeans to fire up the private jets and head back home to Florida.

Tell you what if you don't like golf then fair enough but if you don't like the Ryder cup you don't like sport. That is sport at its very best. Its the greatest sporting event in the world and this is golf at its very best. Never mind the open of the masters where it is every man for himself. The team event of the Ryder cup is what sport is all about.

Yeah we'll they haven't been to bed yet, and they I think now have left for the airport..,all the players saying they can't wait to get on the coach cause its a bit of a drive to the airport and they can get a bit of sleep, because they know some of the "animals in the group" are planning on having another party in the plane hahaha

PS my pet hate in golf (and cricket but moreso golf) is golf people being unable to refer to a shot, or a ball, or a course, or a club, without prefacing it with 'golf'.

While they were getting ready for the presentation last night I flicked over to the highlights on BBC1, and Faldo said "He's hit so many great golf shots this week, the way he's struck the golf ball and taken apart the golf course has been fantastic and he deserves to win the golf tournament"
