Just saw the last few holes. Surprised Westy couldn't follow up that 61. Great to see most of them playing so well though.
Westy didnt have such a good day with the putter. He looks like he is gradually getting better and more confident. I was watching some of his putting and his initial backswing seems to be a little erratic on putts with big breaks. It looks like he is trying to steer them rather than picking a line
Rory McIlroy has clinched the European Tour money list at the Barclays Singapore Open thanks to 19-year-old Italian Matteo Manassero.
World number one McIlroy, already with the PGA Tour money list in the bag, stormed through to third place, sinking a 30-foot eagle putt on the last for a closing 65.
It meant South African Louis Oosthuizen had to win the tournament to keep the "Race to Dubai" alive, but he lost at the third play-off hole to Manassero, who holed from 12 feet for eagle for his third victory on the circuit. They had tied on the 13 under par mark of 271, three in front of McIlroy.
Does the captain really do much other than cheer-lead? I mean, its not like he needs to manage anything other than the order they go out? The teams essentially pick themselves with the points system.
