I'm sure there are people in Hollywood now who've already had the same thought.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

It was Wiggins specifically who rejected it. I went over to Manchester, I sat down with Brailsford and everything was sorted. I hired a van specifically for the purpose of following them for the Tour. A day before I was to go to Amsterdam, Fran Millar called me and said there was a problem. I went to Amsterdam, sat down with them and Brailsford said, ‘basically, look, Wiggins is not happy. Is it okay if you pick up the team in eight days time?” I said ‘no, it is from the start or nothing,’ and that is where it was left.
I suppose that was an awareness for me that they were not practicing what they preached. You purport to be this, let’s see what you got, and suddenly when they were asked to back it up, they back down.

If they haven't got anything to hide then it's crap PR. But it doesn't mean they have, it's just circumstantial..

Nigel, as usual you go too far. It means you can see it that way but all it really shows is that Wiggins doesn't like Kimmage being around for some reason. It could be because he doesn't want him finding out about something or it could mean they don't get on or something else completely.Originally posted by Nigey View PostYeah he does seem he's got something to hide. Bizarre.
It's tempting to jump to conclusions for all sorts of reasons but all we know so far is that it's consistent with the worst possible interpretation of events. It's also consistent with other interpretations though..

Certainly wouldn't be the first person to have a personal problem with a journo... could simply be that, in his pre-race preparations, he didn't want someone buzzing around asking questions, looking in every cupboard and getting under people's feet.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostNo, it doesn't. But surely Wiggins is intelligent enough to know that it's bad PR? Then he also knows that Kimmage is not going to let this go away, so why not agree to it?
I agree that we're merely speculating, so let's see if Wiggins replies to Kimmage's tweets. It might be circumstantial as you say, but terribly bad PR by Wiggins. Are we winning?
