He was junior world pursuit champion at 18 which pretty much by definition mades him best in the world for his age.
So him being best in the world fifteen years later is absolutely no cause for concern, especially given the strides made against doping in recent years which has inevitably made it easier for clean riders to do well..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Just things like in 2007 when he was clearly disgusted with Moreni when he failed a drug test when he was in the same team.

It's a legal and financial minefield for LA. And it's clear that he has been well coached to circumvent those traps in the interview.
I think it'd be so much easier if he has accepted that he'll go bankrupt, then he can freely admit to everything. And given the fact that he has been able to hold on top of the road cycling world for 7 years (even with dope), he is clearly set to fight all the way.
All quite consistent with his personality. Was muß, das muß.
