i see the point that if a footballer did this there would be outcry.
however the thing to remember is that while BW may be a bit older this level of exposure is new to him. I am sure there was an article somewhere i saw saying he was asking people not to keep asking his wife to take pictures of him.
where he lives he is fairly well known but gets left alone to just get on with it.

It seems to me that in the last few days - i.e. since Wiggins' accident - many more drivers have been more patient and giving more room when passing. Has anyone else noticed it?.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Mark Cavendish hits car in training crash in Italy
Britain's Mark Cavendish has been involved in a collision with a car while training in Italy but says he is "relatively OK".
The car braked in front of Cavendish and the 2011 world road race champion went into the back of it.
"Went & hit the back of a car that slammed on today in training. Wasn't ideal," 27-year-old Cavendish, from the Isle of Man, posted on Twitter.
"Apart from a bruised arm, I'm relatively ok. If anyone cares."
Cavendish recently left Team Sky for Omega Pharma-Quickstep and the incident comes less than two weeks after Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins and British Cycling head coach Shane Sutton were knocked off their bikes in the UK.
Wiggins spent a night in hospital with rib and hand injuries after being knocked off his bike near a petrol station close to his Lancashire home.
Sutton, who is also Team Sky's head coach, is recovering from bruising and bleeding on the brain as well as a fractured cheekbone following an accident cycling along the A6 near Manchester suburb Levenshulme.

Well, it is always the person behind who has the responsibility of stopping in time. In the eyes of the law it is the driver behinds fault.Originally posted by Alex View PostYes, lets assume that the Cavendish was at fault for slamming into the back of the car.
