His time overlapped with Johnny Wilkinson and as much as I loved him I think his “style” wasn’t synonymous with Lions traditions. I think peak O’Gara would be very much a fav of Gatland now.

What O’Gara is “famous” for from a Lions perspective is the assault on him by Duncan McRae vs the Warratahs. He was pummelled by him when he was on the ground
