    They take the time to look at the severity and see if it needs upgrading - unless very blatant they go yellow and “use” the bunker to review for them

    I don’t watch a lot of rugby tbf & I was just watching the Aussies & Georgia tonight. One of our guys got a yellow card about 5 mins before 1/2 time & when they return to restart the 2nd half the ref tells our captain it’s been upgraded to a 20 min red card ( which they explained is a new rule change ) but I’ve never heard of a decision being upgraded like that once the player has started the first punishment.

    Just read Marx may be back in a few of weeks time which is incredible. Must be a minor fracture (is there such a thing?). Will believe it when I see it. Mostert whom also has a broken leg will apparently will be back in six weeks. Modern sports science is something else.

    That's probably his career. I cringed when it happened in real time. During his prime, he's been the best in the world in his position and most likely our best player. Will be hard to come back from that.

    Him out also reduces the English proficiency of our squad by about 90%

    Fair play Ireland, thought the second half effort was going to be enough but clearly not. Let down the southern hemisphere. It's a pity there isn't a third match.
