I am glad that a team from this side of the draw won. And I hope they manage to not **** the draw for next time.

Undoubtedly we will be crap again by then and the draw will conspire against us from the other direction.
Do it like football, make the draw 6 months before…. That’s the fairest way

Enjoy the win - the best team won the tournament, SA fronted up to all challenges thrown at them. The win against France was so incredible to beat them at their best at their stadium was a truly remarkable performance. Then you guys just seemed to know how to get the job done, it doesn’t get harder than having to beat all of the other teams in the top 6 on your way to the trophy.

Hope the hangover is not too bad.

We won't win the next one but it doesn't matter, it's time to enjoy the moment.

Also, hilariously I've been abroad for both Paris wins (07 and now in Australia and New Zealand respectively), this one being particularly odd celebrating like a maniac behind enemy lines. Just got home and I've been drinking practically since I woke up this morning. Definitely trying to be respectful/magnanimous the whole time. Especially as culturally it couldn't be more different from the chaos in Johannesburg in 2019 where I don't feel like anything would have changed in NZ if they had won today. Extreme vs. placid in many ways.

Was saying to my friend in the first half that he was going to empty his tank for the bomb squad but was still smashing guys back in the tackle in the final minutes. Incredible.
Congrats Zap - out in front with 4 now. Looking forward to seeing the next generation in 4 years time….. preferably not in the same pool!

PSDT rolled back the years with an absolutely destructive performance - 28 tackles is mad and most of them like being hit by a car!

Yep, one that got away for you though SA show what it takes.

Amazing scenes with Kolisis - what a man he is.
I tipped SA to win pre tournament and they’d have beaten us I think. They get it done
