So I paid attention from afar and wasn't aware of that. There is usually no smoke without fire and having seen some of the details from WhatsApp (won't share) the 'lads' came across and the stereotypical rugby jock. I was in university with a number of high profile ex Irish players and some of the stories they had were mad. That was the days before real money came into the game so I can imagine it being even worse now.Originally posted by labourRed View PostThey weren't deemed guilty beyond reasonable doubt, which is the case with a serious crime. That doesn't mean i think they were guilty either.
Usually these guys get protected from such things but they'll get over it and move on but not the same for that girl I bet. This is a life changer for her and she has now been deemed to be wrong in her accusations.....
As I said earlier - am absolute disaster of a situation.

Massive game for Munster today at home to Toulon, Thomond will be pumped but with so many injuries it will be one of their best to win against the Toulon all stars. Toulon beat Clermont last week by almost 50 points whilst resting Nonu and more!
Leinster vs Saracens also intriguing tomorrow but fancy Leinster to win it outright with so many Grand Slam winners in the team and O’Brien due back v soon.
Clermont should make the semis with home advantage usually massive for the French sides.
Great win for Scarlets, led by Scotland Captain John Barclay (moving to Edinburgh this summer). Scarlets are a really good side.
Big game for Edinburgh in the Challenge cup tonight. The difference Richard Cockerill has made since coming in has been astounding. Edinburgh have been on a great run since October.Modifying post.

My point came across badly - this girl clearly felt she was raped and had enough evidence to take it to court. A jury finding PJ and co not guilty in this case must be so hard for her to take, added to that her name ‘got out’ on social media so it will be something that hangs over her forever.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostNot finding someone guilty doesn't mean their accuser has been found to have been wrong.
As I said a few times - a disaster all round.

That's messed up. Wtf is wrong with these people who publicise their name?Originally posted by Irishnev View PostMy point came across badly - this girl clearly felt she was raped and had enough evidence to take it to court. The legal system there doesn’t help in so far as the accused can be named and given the high profile case she was always going to be known. She did a number of days in the dock also so again she’d be knownOriginally posted by Red_Polo View PostThat's messed up. Wtf is wrong with these people who publicise their name?
