Even if he did (which it didn't) there is the question of a high tackle as it's neck/chin height. Any other time it's a yellow. It's a home side decision but if that was in the 20th minute it would have been given. Also worth noting that May was miles offside in that same sequence.
Pretty disgusting. Handling errors were the reason of the loss, but that's a ****ing disgrace. That costs players/coaches careers.
That’s high and leading with the Shoulder and not really wrapping his arms, no arms tabmckle is a pen. Danny Cipriani got a red card for Gloucester the other week for about the same.
It’s a delicate and tricky area in Rugby these days but by the letter of the law as it stands I’d say that’s a pen and at least a yellow.
Rugby is ****ing impossible to ref though so no surprise they don’t get it right all the time.
