Scots look strong and settled

Scotland team to face England: Hogg; Graham, Harris, Johnson, Van der Merwe; Russell, Price; Sutherland, Turner, Z Fagerson, J Gray, Gilchrist, Ritchie, Watson, M Fagerson.

Replacements: McInally, Schoeman, Nel, Skinner, M Bradbury, White, Kinghorn, Tuipulotu.

I do watch a lot of the Prem and there are still a few names I am not massively familiar with. Agree though, these are top level players. The front 5 looks very strong for England but there are a lot of untested combos in the backs.

It’s going to be loading down so its all likely moot anyway

We do look settled. Would have liked Cam Redpath in at 13 but he’s just back from injury.

Dreading/looking forward to it.

Will grab a beer and watch you lot hopefully batter the Welsh first.

Wales in the 6 Nations are always strong so any win will do - we have decent depth everywhere but still reliant in Sexton. Our pack is the best in the tournament - our front row is insanely good. Kelleher and Porter can reach Furlong levels and Doris will level up.

Joint third last year

I just hope we play our best Rugby. If we do we will be more than competitive in every game. We should look at what Wales do. Written off every year, club sides pretty poor, yet they always turn up.

Listened to a few preview pods today - your club sides are going well, Townsend is established, squad and team is settled, good depth, right age profile…… all set up for you. Biggest issue is England first where the margin for error is small……. Watson needs to smash Smith into next week early on

Yeah, if not now then when?

It is all set up for us on Saturday. Which is why we will probably blow it. I’d fancy us to do well vs Wales. We normally do well vs France at home. Italy practice week now a days for all teams.

I career from optimism to fear every Feb. Then reality.

Third is about as optimistic as I get. Its just a prediction it has no material impact.

I have to say with any team I support, if I am going to the game I have to believe we will win. There is nothing in it for me turning up expecting a thumping and hoping to be ,mildly surprised.
