I’m assuming Buzzo is in Murrayfield - was hoping for the draw tbh but happy Scotland wonOriginally posted by Irishnev View PostBonus point win - very sloppy last 20 mins from us, had the chance to properly thump them. Lots of improvement needed vs France.
Over to you Buzzo
- tough game in tough conditions……. Scotland in Cardiff next where they always perform well

The 6 Nations is super attritional - we’ll see who’s standing thenOriginally posted by labourRed View PostI normally sit on the fence on the Ireland Scotland games but the Scots have got very cocky on my WhatsApp so it's a shame there's a month until they get their arsed handed to them.

No true Scotland fan should ever be cocky ever.Originally posted by labourRed View PostI normally sit on the fence on the Ireland Scotland games but the Scots have got very cocky on my WhatsApp so it's a shame there's a month until they get their arsed handed to them.
Tough game today, one I’ve watched us lose countless times. I think we just deserved it through defensive effort, but I need to watch it all back again.Modifying post.

Excellent - beating England is always great for us……Originally posted by Buzzo View PostWas a great day tho. I went with my old man and he hasn’t seen us beat the English since the 80’s so feel pretty awesome to be there at the end.
A depleted Wales side next……. I suspect you are sensing a triple crown Buzzo

I had loads to drink yesterday to take the edge of the nerves. First time we’ve gone back to back with Calcutta Cups since the 80’s…!Originally posted by Irishnev View PostExcellent - beating England is always great for us……

One game at a time tho Nev, one game at a time. Wales will be hurting and will want to beat us. France v Ireland looks a cracker.
You guys will have your eyes on the Slam eh?
You will silently deny it, but your silence says more than any admission ever could

Our form in the autum, our provincial form and the fact that we are ‘regular’ winners makes me confident. I also know that this is arguably the closest 6 Nations in many years. France are slightly ahead of us but have t win the championship in 12 years so now they to convert their promise into trophies.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI had loads to drink yesterday to take the edge of the nerves. If we had them in Dublin I’d be confident but away we never do well there. Beat them and it’s absolutely on but lose and then we could also lose at Twickenham which makes it a poor tournament…… fine margins and all that. We weren’t clinical yesterday, we genuinely could have scored 50 points if we were really at it so plenty of room for improvement

I think we are at a stage now where (excluding Italy) any of the teams can expect to win when they play each other. The flip side is, any of the teams can feasibly lose each match also. It’s an incredibly tough tournament to win.
I wouldn’t rule England out either. Italy away and then Wales at home next. Two wins distinctly possible.
I don’t see any team getting a Slam.Modifying post.
