Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
Interesting article from Tommy Bowe. He has mentioned a great system for dealing with high tackles. Agree that one was a red, but the game as a spectacle would have suffered as a result of it.
The system Bowe is suggesting is make it a red, as in that player cannot return to the field, but enable a replacement to come on after 10, and preserve the spectacle.
In terms of Scotland, it was an amazing match at Murrayfield on Saturday. I was pretty steaming by full time
We played ok first half, strong opening 20 then began to let them back in when we got a yellow. Second half was really dominant. We have great attacking options now, and Finn Russell was given the space to play. When that happens, win or lose, Murrayfield is an excellent place to be.
We look as unified and as confident as I have seen us in many many years. But. We have the top two teams in World Rugby up next who are playing at a higher level. France, we could trouble as they still seem to tire last 20, but Ireland look imperious. I'd give us a chance against anyone and teams will have to play well to beat us.
Looking forward to seeing what is next. Also saw Jamie Ritchie and Sione Tiopolutu in the restaurant we were at post match. Spoke to Sione for a while - lovely lad.
Watched England on Sunday. A good win, but a shocker of a match. It still feels Enland have the players to play an amazing all court expansive game and be the match of everyone, but, they just constantly kick the ball away. It is brutal to watch, and you just wish England would give Markus Smith the ten shirt and let him play.

I was waiting for this - I suspected you were at the game…… you must be quietly confident. Beat us at home and it’s a triple crown - beat Italy then and possible championship. I’m very wary of ye unless we have all our players back - we’d need to stop good ball to Russell to have a good chance

We could beat both you and France on our day. But. Both you and France can obviously beat us. It’s the most cohesive Scotland team I’ve seen. We finally have that feel that everyone is on the same page.
But.
Away in Paris to a wounded French team is tough. And the. You lot honing in on a Slam. We can easily lose both. We aren’t favourites for either match.
One thing I do expert is both games to be really good.
Finn has to play for Racing vs Brice this weekend which is sub optimal. We have been able to grow the pool so much by having players play in England and France this is when it bites.

No way was that article written by Tommy Bowe.
He is a host on a really crap Irish morning show and struggles with the most basic of things, not least the english language.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
