    What a collapse

I turned it off when it went 21-0 as the level of control was total, and it looked like it was going to be a rout

Well done the Pumas for hanging in there, but WTF was that from the Scots?

So infuriating. Townsend ****ed the bench going 5-3 then we lost Gregor Brown early. Having Duhan on the bench made no sense whatsoever. Then he didn’t make changes at scrum half and within the backs when momentum was sliding.

But overall it’s on the players, metal weakness exposed again.

Pumas fought back brilliantly and Carerras was amazing when he came on.

True, I don’t think Test matches can ever be approached at anything other than 100% and it’s never detracted from match day experiences (tho Sunday KOs can **** off), but means in particular the summer tours have more purpose. Will drive interest for sure tho suspect the bigger nations will gain the most. Perhaps I like it as it stops the SRU from putting meaningless padding fixtures like we seem to organise every autumn. Having to play South Africa away next summer is a great opportunity and one that should drive improvements.

          Every 2 years I think.

My one caveat is that it detracts from the RWC.

It’s like that stupid nations league in football and it make preventing the likes of us and ye “blooding” players vs weaker teams given points will count. I get it but I don’t love it

I’m a bit down on sport these days - Liverpool are **** and I can see Ireland deteriorating in rugby. At least you’ve a successful nation team although Ireland gave me two good nights recently

            Spoiler - I didn’t watch either

Yeah. Know what you mean - I’m a bit sported out right now also.

It’s such a drain on time and resource

Yep this one will leave scars I imagine. Regardless of the coach, the players should have been able to see this out

Ireland in one of the most desperate rear guard actions ever.

But. You cannot keep infringing to this level, it’s relentless.

                  Down to 12.

Crowd raging, but I’m not sure what else the ref can do.

Arguably lucky to not be down to 11 with that penalty try at the end of the half

                      ****ing hell.

                      How many pens?

Offsides, hands in the ruck, scrum crumbling - it is relentless. Arguably could have been another card here.

                        Another card.

                        Death by scrum.

                          That was an absolute shambles.

Exciting at times. An unwatchable mess at others.

That was a chaotic game of rugby (well both Ireland v SA and France v Australia)

Not sure I’ve ever seen a team go down to 12, that I can remember. Most of the yellows seemed fair on their own, but I think the SA 10 should have seen yellow for his no arms tackle at the beginning, which would have changed the game

Some impressive defending from the Irish though to keep that from being a blowout. But what a strange game
