I think they are all actually further away. That Merc time on the soft tyre was something else.

It did look it, not even sure they cranked it up in testing.

Wow, some job from Lewis. McLaren look disastrous though!

Amazing lap from Hamilton. It's going to be a long start to the season for McLaren they'll get better but the first half of the season at least is a complete write off.

Can't wait for the race. It's going to be another good season. One of lads I use to work with just got a job with Mercedes and he gets to travel with the team to the races. Jammy *******.

Could do with some teams getting closer to Mercedes.

Got a feel of Red Bull dominance about it.

It does a bit, you'd think if Hamilton keeps his head he'll win another title this season

Very lucky to have Toto Wolf there imo, the bloke doesn't do complacency.

It's much worse than Red Bull dominance. At least when they had the best car/driver combo other teams were able to compete for race wins. Now the Mercs have it completely sown up the battle is for the third step of the podium for the rest.

True, but at least there was and hopefully is; a race for the title with the Merc drivers, with Red Bull that never really happened.

If it's anything like last season i'll take that, doesn't matter what colour the cars are, just that more than one driver can win the thing for as long as possible is more important imo.

Will obviously be better if/when the other teams catch up, but compared to One Driver Red Bull dominance i prefer what we have.

Yeah hopefully, I'd like Rosberg to win this season but I think he'll be blown away in Lewis' pursuit to join Senna of 3 titles.

Think Lewis was happiest at meeting Arnie than he was for his race performance.

What a dull race! The Honda powered McLaren is going to need a lot of work but I think they'll get there but until another works team gets competitive enough to compete with the Mercs they'll be the only winners so Red Bull, Ferrari and Honda really need to up their games (this season is done already in that respect imo).
