I agree only 4 engine suppliers isn't great but like you say who else would potentially come in ? VW haven't had a great time of it with the fuel stuff although rumours of them teaming up with Redbull in a few years and BMW have said they've no interest in returning to F1

Just depends how much Renault and Honda want to throw at the development.

I think it would be good for one more manufacturer to supply engines. Not sure who would now though.

Yeah you can develop, they've relaxed the tokens rules which is a good thing. For me both Honda and Renault will have a fair bit of catching up to do

Fairly sure ypou can develop an engine during the season now so it's not as huge a disadvantage to start behind. You would have to hoppe it would be better for Honda this year.

The problem with domination these days is that since Ferrari in the mid 2000's pushed reliability you don't even get a chink to exploit.

Lot of talk about McLaren could be back challenging but I can't see them being up to the Merc or Ferrari level of performance.

It'll be an interesting first test

Going to be interesting. Mercs won't be as far ahead as they were the start of last season be interesting to see how Haas does and also Manor with the Engine change.

Fancy Renault will have a tough start to the seasoj

Yeah, Andrew Benson started following ITV F1 on Friday, an account that hadn't been active for 3 years or so.

    Sickening.
